Sovereign Centre, Boscombe

Boscombe is nestled beside the historic conference town of Bournemouth and enjoys the same English seaside ambience having once been a popular Victorian Spa town. Indeed, Boscombe is set for a revival as it aims to become Bournemouth’s surfing capital with the opening of the new artificial surf reef in 2010 attracting a new, younger, outdoor and surfing visitor.
The Sovereign Centre lies at the heart of Boscombe’s pedestrian precinct and alongside the Victorian Royal Arcade. Open 7 days and enjoying easy access by public transport, the Centre boasts over forty shops including main stores Boots, Lidl, New Look, Peacocks, Sports Direct, Costa Coffee, Wilkinsons and West One alongside local specialist stores and boutiques including Jacqueline’s.
Boscombe also enjoys the Open Air Market every Thursday and Saturday between 9am and 5pm, where you can browse stalls selling fresh local produce, clothing and arts & crafts.
Visitors can enjoy a leisurely browse before enjoying a reviving coffee at one of the popular cafes before going on to explore more of what this old town and famous coast have to offer.
